Drew is a writer & director with a passion for grounded genre, strong characters and plot. She has been selected/shortlisted for various talent schemes/new talent lists including: the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist (2017); the HOLLYOAKS (UK Channel Four TV show) New Directors scheme where she directed a scene working with the cast, crew and post production team from the actual show (2017); DIRECTORS UK Guild Mentoring Programme (2017), where she was mentored by director Owen Harris (who was director of Troy: Fall of A City, Misfits and Black Mirror - San Junipero and Be Right Back episodes); the BFI's Best of 2016 list for her psychological horror script called THE UNSEEN; and the Channel Four Screenwriting Fellowship.

Drew has written and directed various short films. Her sci-fi short LOVE ROBOT has been selected in 8 international festivals to date and just secured a distribution deal with Shorts TV to be broadcasted on their TV channel in the USA, Europe and Asia. She recently completed her new sci-fi short CORPUCIA, working with cinematographer Franz Pagot and actor Royce Pierreson (BBC's Murdered by my Boyfriend, Our Girl & Line of Duty S4). Finally, her micro-short drama DEAR ANGELA won a Film London Award and was screened at BAFTA and the David Lean cinema. 

She is currently in development on two features BECOMING BRIE (dark comedy drama) and CEREBRIS (grounded sci-fi). She is represented by agency The Artists Partnership in the UK and Roar Management in the US.
